Community Programmes Team

Our Community Programmes team recruit, train and support over 200 IV home therapies nurses and renal technicians who visit clients in their own home to administer medication or assist with renal dialysis. These are sociable roles for healthcare professionals who enjoy working in the community with a level of autonomy. This service provides vital care which enables clients to manage their medication from home making it less intrusive in their daily lives and saving time consuming visits to hospitals.

IV home therapies visits and renal technician appointments are made daily usually morning and evenings as well as weekends. We have part-time and full-time vacancies nationwide. Healthcare Assistants with six months care experience and an NVQ level 2 in health & social care can apply to become a renal technician.

No prior experience is necessary as we provide training to those who can commit to regular hours. Access to a car is an advantage as the role can require extensive travel.

To register your interest to apply to become an IV home therapies nurse or renal technician with Advantage Care send in your CV via our work for us page.

Alternatively for an informal discussion about the role contact our Community Programmes team.

Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm.
