Advantage Healthcare’s chief nurse Andy Cook is delivering a key speech at a prestigious event hosted by NHS England.
Andy will be presenting at the Patient Safety Congress, hosted in Manchester, and will be talking about the innovative work being delivered by Advantage Healthcare (IHC).
The two-day congress is the country’s most important patient safety event of the year.
IHC has been invited to participate in a presentation at a plenary session as part of a team including NHS Improvement.
Andy said: “I am absolutely delighted to have been invited on behalf of IHC because it is an honour to take part in the congress.
“The invitation illustrates that the innovative new approaches to patient care and patient safety has been recognized, along with the standards in safe care we deliver every day.
“Independent sector health care providers have a key part to play in not just keeping patients safe while delivering high-quality care, but also in being involved in the development of new approaches to care.”
IHC established a new approach to delivering care to deteriorating patients and has transferred that service to a wider patient group.
Andy added: “Our approach to delivering care to deteriorating patients is highly regarded. I will be talking about our work during the congress and very much look forward to promoting what IHC has to offer.”
The congress is being held on the 9th and 10th of July, at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
